Harmoniqs Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Harmoniqs ("the App") is a music analysis application developed and operated by Pixnode LLC. The App is available on iOS, Android, and the web. It allows users to detect musical key, tempo, and dominant notes from uploaded audio files or live microphone recordings.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in, we collect basic profile information provided by your chosen authentication provider (Google, Apple, GitHub, X/Twitter, or email). This may include your name, email address, and profile photo.

Audio Files

Audio files you upload or record are processed to extract musical analysis data (key, tempo, dominant notes). Files are processed on our servers and are not shared with third parties.

Analysis History

We store the results of your audio analysis (file name, detected key, tempo, notes, and timestamp) so you can review past results. This data is linked to your account.

Usage Data

We may collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, and general usage patterns to improve the App. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide audio analysis results and maintain your history
• To authenticate your account securely
• To improve the App's accuracy and performance
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Audio Data & Microphone Access

The App requests microphone access solely to enable live audio recording for analysis. Microphone data is processed in real time and is not stored unless you explicitly save a recording. We do not record or transmit audio without your active initiation.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and analysis history are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the App, which permanently removes all associated data from our systems.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure session management, and restricted database access. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Harmoniqs is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@pixnode.org and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (available directly in-app)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

9. Third-Party Authentication

Sign-in is handled via Replit Auth, which supports Google, Apple, GitHub, X/Twitter, and email/password. Each provider's privacy policy governs how they handle your data during the sign-in process. We only receive the profile information you have authorized the provider to share.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Harmoniqs after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
